=D The Art Institute called me the other day, I'm so stoked! I'm not sure if I'm going to be going there or not next fall, I may just stay here and do two years at the community college and then transfer to a 4-year and get my bachelor's degree....but the art institute would be so awesome to go to! I'm going to the open house sometime in April I think.... It's over in Seatle, so I'll have a ways to go. But thats fine, I could get away for a day! If I make the decision to go, I'd study photography and maybe animation...depending on what it's all about. Some of my goals for college are to study in photo-journalism and get hands-on experience there, also I'd love to go into some form of Geo-science and naturalist work, wildlife study, and art.
Wow, Senior Projects are already starting soon. Ahh....a lot of work ahead of me, but I'm ready for it. I'm doing my project on the importance of reconnecting with our natural world, and how vital it is for our well-being to take some time to stop and enjoy life more and to give back so that future generations can continue to appreciate and love our planet. A bit sappy, I know, but it's so true.
My topic surrounds other issues too. Please watch The Story of Stuff. It is so inspiring! http://www.storyofstuff.com/index.html
Honestly, you never really think about all this stuff until it smacks you in the face! I think Annie does an awesome job explaining the system crisis! She does tend to get a bit overly democratic, but thats ok by me. No one can be right or wrong in these situations. I don't think I could settle just being either demo or repub. I guess I'm one of those in-between gals. Anyway, I came across this film on Joe Murray's issues he cares about links a few months ago and fell in love with it's concept! Then today in Lit class, we watched it! I was glad. It's a film everyone should see.
Check it out, kids! Its rad!
Mmm....so much hw. T_T
